The Role AXS is seeking

Senior Software Engineer – iOS

to join our team. The candidate enjoys and thrives in working with a variety of tools, languages, and architectures while building features and applications for our core ticketing systems. You will work on consumer‑facing and B2B applications that can scale and handle high demand, as well as complex enterprise systems that meet our global needs.

What You’ll Be Doing

Design and build new features and enhancements for our global ticketing platforms

Optimize for user experience and performance in scaling out our applications to handle massive spikes in traffic

Build scalable modules for internal applications and external partners

Create services that power the core of our infrastructure, implementing APIs and features for our mission critical products

Work closely with other engineers, architects, business analysts, product and project managers to create innovative solutions that continue to push the boundaries of our business

Participate in design and code reviews to ensure best practices and high‑quality code

Develop consistent, well‑tested code with Open‑Source Programming Languages and Frameworks

Work with third parties to make a seamless and integrated experience for our customers and fans

What to Bring

4‑6 years of iOS a pp development experience within a professional environment

BS /MS in Computer Science or a related technical field

Strong knowledge of

Swift

and

Objective‑C

fundamentals, including null safety, structs, extensions, async/await, and modern data handling.

Experience with

asynchronous programming

and

structured concurrency , including handling data streams and JSON parsing.

Proficiency with

UIKit

(ViewControllers, AppDelegate, lifecycle management).

Hands‑on experience with common

iOS libraries

(ViewModels, ReactiveCocoa, Alamofire).

UI development expertise using

SwiftUI

and

UIKit/Declarative UI .

Background in developing and integrating

XCFrameworks .

Proficient in

Git

workflows (branching, PRs, code reviews).

Practical experience with

MVVM architecture

and design patterns.

Strong understanding of

SOLID principles

and clean architecture practices

Experience building and maintaining iOS SDKs

for internal or external consumption.

Strong communication skills, both technical and non‑technical.

Solid technical foundation and understanding of the software development life cycle

Proven record of learning new languages, skills and technologies quickly, with minimal guidance

Takes initiative, stays focused, always accountable

Thrives in a fast‑paced environment with the ability to focus on achieving the target while minding longer term goals along the way

Nice to Have

Familiarity with

Xcode

and

Xcode CLI build tools .

Testing experience with

XCTest ,

XCUITest ,

Mockolo , and

OCMock .

Exposure to

CI/CD pipelines

(Jenkins or similar).

Practical use of Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics.

Experience with

React Native

is a plus.

Pay Scale: $140,000–$150,000

Bonus:

This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
