Job Description
Crystallization Scientist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Support crystallization process development activities of the group through laboratory experiments, including solubility screening experiments, kinetic solubility and metastable zone width measurements, and laboratory-scale crystallization experiments. Hands‑on generation of solid‑state characterization data using powder X‑ray diffraction. Analysis of product samples for key physical properties, including particle size distribution and particle shape, using optical microscopy and laser diffraction particle size analysis. Support of technical initiatives that may involve the design, installation, repair, and maintenance of specialized laboratory equipment. Comfortable with multitasking Independent and systematic Excellent problem‑solving skills Good written communications, including use of electronic laboratory notebooks Hands‑on experience with relational databases and complex spreadsheets Qualifications
The ideal candidate would possess: Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self‑motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies Basic Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly‑related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major) Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship Additional Information
