We’re looking for a project manager who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast with incomplete information, and brings structure when necessary. This is a unique individual contributor role at the intersection of project management, program coordination, portfolio strategy, and delivery execution. Key responsibilities include: Own delivery of critical initiatives across multiple disciplines. Maintain clear project plans, dependencies, and risk logs. Facilitate planning sessions, retros, and working groups across time zones. Support development and ongoing management of a Customer Operations project portfolio. Develop and implement contingency plans for identified risks. Model project scenarios and track risk triggers. Dive into ambiguous, high‑stakes initiatives and create clarity through structure and communication. Define ways of working and design lightweight processes. Identify gaps in ownership and act as connective tissue across teams. Influence stakeholders at all levels with empathy and credibility. Drive accountability and alignment through relationships, not hierarchy. Qualifications
5+ years of experience in project/program/delivery management or operations, preferably in high‑growth or ambiguous environments. Background in sports betting, gaming, or other fast‑paced, highly regulated industries. Experience in customer operations functions such as Customer Care, Risk, or Payment operations (plus). Proven track record of thriving in roles with limited structure, unclear ownership, and rapid change. Deep understanding of the PMI framework and delivery best practices. PMP certification is a plus. Strong relationship building, influencing without authority, and earning trust rapidly. Comfortable with Asana, Workfront, or similar tools. Strategic thinker and tactical executor. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Gaming Compliance & Licensing Requirements
As an online gaming company, BetMGM must comply with state gaming regulations, including licensing obligations. Applicants must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency; certain positions may require multiple agencies. Failure to maintain licensure may result in termination.
