As the Senior Manager of Business Intelligence at Sundt, you will lead the strategy, design, delivery, and adoption of analytics solutions that empower Sundt to make informed, data?driven decisions. Reporting to the Director of Data Engineering, you will guide a team of BI analysts and developers to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable insights through dashboards, self?service tools, and advanced analytics. The Senior Manager serves as both a strategic partner and operational pleader, ensuring the BI initiatives align with Sundts enterprise data strategy, governance framework, and departmental Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). This role requires a blend of technical expertise, people leadership, and business acumen playing a key role in connecting analytics to performance improvement, driving BI adoption and connecting data?driven insights to organizational success. Key Responsibilities Align BI initiatives with the enterprise data strategy, IT roadmap, and Sundts long?term business plan for cohesive execution. Collaborate with the Data Engineering team and data stewards to maintain consistent definitions, lineage, and security of enterprise data assets. Continuously refine BI delivery processes through automation, standardization, retrospectives, and feedback loops to enhance efficiency and scalability. Define and monitor BI?related Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to measure value creation, adoption, and business impact. Encourage innovation and experimentation while maintaining alignment with enterprise governance and strategy. Establish and enforce BI development standards, naming conventions, and visualization best practices to ensure trust and consistency across reports. Foster a customer service?first culture, ensuring clear communication, responsiveness, and quality deliverables. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of BI professionals, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning. Manage workload, priorities, and career growth to ensure high?quality deliverables and strong team engagement. Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of executive dashboards, KPIs, and analytical models aligned with strategic and operational goals. Partner with leaders in Finance, Operations, Safety, HR, and other business units to identify analytic opportunities that translate business needs into scalable solutions. Promote BI adoption and data literacy through training, enablement sessions, and stakeholder engagement with analytics tools.
Minimum Job Requirements
5+ years of experience leading BI teams with a demonstrated track record of leading business transformation through data and analytics. Bachelors degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CBIP, PMP, Six Sigma) preferred. Exceptional collaboration, communication, and influencing skills across technical and non?technical audiences. Experience with supporting enterprise reporting standards, data governance, and metadata management initiatives. Experience working in or supporting construction, engineering, or related industries is a plus. Expertise in BI and data visualization tools: Power BI or similar, plus advanced proficiency in SQL and familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Databricks). Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies in a BI environment. Strong analytical and storytelling skills with the ability to distill complex data into executive?level narratives that drive action.

Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day.
