Position Responsibilities
Performs assigned duties as an individual or as a member of a cross‑functional High‑Performance Work Team.
Operates computing equipment to access job information (e.g., drawings, specifications and other online information systems).
Uses various types of power tools, hand tools, and torque tools.
Meets customer satisfaction requirements for quality, performance and reliability.
Performs all elements of assembly from detailed work instructions, including reworks and repairs.
Assists in defining, implementing, completing and monitoring execution of the work scope.
Examines newly acquired instruments and testing equipment for conformance to acceptable quality standards, making visual and electrical tests where necessary.
Tests and repairs a broad range of complex test instrumentation such as secondary standards, radio frequency and microwave instruments.
Modifies existing instruments per manufacturers modernization data or user requirements.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience working with powered hand tools or equipment.
Minimum 1 year of assembly experience or J‑standard certification.
Preferred Qualifications
A&P or ASE certified mechanic.
Active U.S. Secret Clearance.
Security Clearance Required This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance. A U.S. Secret Clearance is required for pre‑start and post‑start phases.
Additional Information
This is an hourly position governed by the IAMAW 2766 Collective Bargaining agreement.
The selected candidate must be able to work any shift, as assigned. This site runs 3 shifts: A (Mon‑Thu 6:00 am–4:30 pm), B (Mon‑Thu 4:30 pm–3:00 am), C (Fri‑Sun 6:00 am–6:30 pm). Training will occur on first or second shift Monday‑Friday; shifts will be assigned after training.

Total Rewards Competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities. Summary pay range: $20.00 / hr. – $26.00 / hr. starting rate.
