team. The
Manufacturing Operations Manager 1
oversees and manages all operational aspects of the Avionics and Electronic Ground Support Equipment areas, responsible for the safety of the employees, delivering quality products on time and within customer cost targets, and continuous improvement. Provides leadership direction of design and process development, production, operations, engineering, test and Quality Assurance functions. Manages and presents status on cost, schedule and performance for all projects within the area; assesses issues and develops mitigation plans to meet productivity, quality, cost, and delivery goals. In This Job, You Will
Ensure all work cells support and achieve the negotiated program commit dates Identify potential gaps in production schedules and minimize any line stoppages Resolve work cell issues, non-conformances, drawing releases, router and traveler releases Produce and present weekly reports on factory work cell delivery performance Work closely with planning organization to reduce schedule impacts due to material shortages Work closely with programs on releasing documentation in time to support production schedules Work with manufacturing and quality management on work cell resources Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience – OR – Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with all levels in the organization Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Able to work 1st Shift (6:00am-3:30pm) Preferred Qualifications

Visit the Space page for more information: https://www.northropgrumman.com/space Primary Level Salary Range: $92,600.00 - $139,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
