The Ford Store Morgan Hill The Ford Store Morgan Hill is one of the best family-owned and operated Ford dealerships in the Bay Area. We are currently seeking a full-time Parts Counter Person to join our expanding business.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line. Pull purchases from stock. If the part is not in stock, determine availability and submit an emergency order if requested by the customer. Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information. Assist outside sales representatives with their orders. Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick up. Verify “will call” and “back order” files weekly and return to vendors or stock those items not required. Solicit assigned accounts by phone. Assist service technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs in process. Order parts not in stock. Notify the customer that ordered parts have been received. Be friendly, professional and efficient when working with all customers, both on the phone and in person. Provide the same high level of service to the other dealership departments as is given to other customers. Keep your work counter area clean and uncluttered. Keep current on new products and product updates. Ability to work well with the public, sometimes with several customers at a time. (multi-task) Participate in all training programs that are made available. Keep a professional personal appearance and have a good attitude
Requirements
High school or equivalent (Preferred) Automotive Parts Sales Occupations: 1 year (Preferred) Weekend availability

Pay Scale
The Counter Person Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $18.00 and $25.00. The position may also pay commission compensation which is based on the value or amount of closed sales achieved from $0.00 (if no sales are made) without any upper limit other than sales performance.
