About the Role As a vital member of the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, you will perform a full range of interventional pulmonary procedures, lead the Bronchoscopic Lung Volume Reduction (BLVR) program, and serve as Associate Program Director for an Interventional Pulmonology fellowship.
Key Clinical & Leadership Responsibilities
Perform advanced bronchoscopy (navigation, robotic, EBUS‑TBNA) and pleural disease management.
Lead and expand the BLVR program, overseeing patient selection, multidisciplinary coordination, procedural excellence, and outcomes tracking.
Provide inpatient and outpatient care within a collaborative pulmonary practice.
Educational & Academic Leadership
Serve as Associate Program Director for the Interventional Pulmonology Fellowship.
Mentor fellows, residents, medical students, and PCCM fellows.
Contribute to curriculum development, simulation training, assessment, and scholarly activities.
Foster an inclusive, diverse training environment.
Research & Quality Improvement
Engage in clinical research related to interventional pulmonary procedures and BLVR.
Publish and present findings at scientific conferences.
Receive protected time for academic pursuits.
Qualifications
MD or DO; completion of an AABIP‑accredited Interventional Pulmonology fellowship.
Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine.
Eligibility for medical licensure in Massachusetts.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching, clinical care, and program leadership.
Experience or strong interest in BLVR program development.
Application & Compensation Salary range: $300,000.00 – $350,000.00 USD. The position may also include performance‑based incentive compensation.
