Job Overview The CMRI Technologist II position works independently, exercising sound judgment and executing above average clinical skills on challenging diagnostic procedures and patient care situations. The position may actively engage in research projects and activities and provides direct assistance to physicians with all diagnostic/special procedures.
Responsibilities The CMRI Technologist II delivers exceptional patient care and adheres to CMRI exam standards and guidelines established by regulatory agencies to ensure optimal patient safety and customer service.
Requirements
RDMS – Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) or RDCS – Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS) or CCI – Cardiovascular Credentialing International, Certified (CCI) or CNMT – Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) – If certification held through NMTCB or ARRT, registration as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT-GC) or ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – If certification held through NMTCB or ARRT, registration as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT-GC) AND ARRT‑MR – Radiologic Technologist – Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT) or ARMRIT – Registered Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist or CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist – State Licensure and BLS – Basic Life Support (AHA).
Ideal Candidate Minimum 1 year of cardiac imaging experience.
