Base pay range $20.00/hr - $35.00/hr
Day in the Life Join our team in West Terre Haute, IN and turn complex prints into flawless parts. Your day starts at the machine: reviewing drawings, loading workholding, setting tools and offsets, and validating programs. You’ll dial in feeds and speeds, run first articles, verify tolerances with precision metrology, and partner with engineers and supervisors to hit spec, schedule, and quality targets. You’ll keep the equipment healthy with daily checks and document what you learn so every run is better than the last.
What You’ll Tackle
Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes: mount fixtures, tooling, and attachments for efficient throughput.
Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to align process plans with technical and production goals.
Optimize processes: adjust feeds, speeds, and tooling to achieve exact specifications and surface finishes.
Run quality checks: monitor production, catch issues early, and ensure parts exceed expectations.
Perform routine maintenance and daily machine care to maximize uptime and accuracy.
Conduct final inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other gauges to verify tolerances and finishes.
What You Bring
5+ years hands‑on CNC machining experience.
Fluency with CNC lathes and mills, blueprint reading, and G‑code interpretation.
Working knowledge of CNC programming and machining software.
Strong use of precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
Troubleshooting strength and solid mechanical aptitude.
Personal hand tools; high school diploma or equivalent (required).
