Job Description SAIC is looking for a full stack ASP.NET Developer to migrate portions of a legacy ASP Classic site to ASP.Net. The ideal candidate will be proficient in front‑end skills such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP Classic; back‑end skills such as C#, ASP.NET; databases such as SQL; and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). The developer will be responsible for architecting, building, and deploying full‑stack solutions for engineering and business functions. The developer will perform ongoing website maintenance and enhancements and will work as the lead web developer, generating ideas for database and web‑based solutions, and designing and implementing those solutions.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and maintain web applications. Build responsive, user‑friendly front‑end interfaces and robust back‑end systems.
Design databases. Create and manage databases that ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and processing.
Collaborate with engineering and business teams. Work with designers, project managers, and other developers to create cohesive products that meet business requirements.
Migrate portions of an ASP Classic website to modern .NET framework using C# and ASP.NET.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field and two years of relevant experience.
Substantial familiarity and proven experience with .NET framework, web services, APIs, and Microsoft Visual Studio.
Expertise in SQL Server, T‑SQL, and database design including model‑view‑controller (MVC).
Familiarity with programming languages like C# and object‑oriented programming.
Experience creating web APIs and web pages within the ASP.NET framework.
Skill in creating object‑relational maps using Entity Framework.
Ability to create front‑end and back‑end solutions using HTML5, XHTML5, and CSS.
Security Clearance
Required secret clearance on first day of employment.
