The SAP Finance Master Data Analyst will join our growing Financial Shared Services team to support master data requirements and maintenance as we continue our ERP conversion journey. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining customer related master data and business partner records. The SAP Finance Master Data Analyst will assist management with developing and implementing policies and procedures around master data governance while coordinating with other functions such as customer service, pricing, and accounting to ensure all requirements are met. Accountable for creating and maintaining detailed and accurate records while adhering to company policies. This position calls for a results and customer service-oriented professional with excellent communication skills to work directly with all levels of the organization to provide a high level of support and deliver accurate results.
This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Financial Shared Services and will be a key contributor in developing Watts' customer master data management process.
This role is hybrid and is based in Andover, MA.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and maintain Business Partner records within SAP S4/HANA including bill-to, sold-to, ship-to, carrier, and agent records
Validate and update critical data elements required for compliance and reporting
Follow company policies and procedures to ensure accurate and consistent master data records and adhere to strict governance related to banking data
Support employees and Watts agents through SAP ERP migration, including developing process documentation and providing training on customer master data requirements
Participating member of SAP team meetings related to master data
Support data migration activities during phased rollouts and review, provide feedback, and approve data loads
Responsible for testing requirements related to Business Partner master data
Collaborate with other departments to gather requirements and establish templates to assist with gathering required data elements
Ensure master data governance guidelines are followed for consistency and accurate results
Monitor and resolve master data errors impacting order processing or financial transactions
Support internal and external audits required throughout the year
Create, analyze, and distribute management and department reporting as needed
Maintain a customer service culture, sustaining and improving on key performance metrics that measure the effectiveness and service levels of the Shared Services function
Provide support and backup for other team members as necessary
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Computer Science
Knowledge of SAP S4/HANA and SAP best practices
2+ years of hands‑on experience with SAP, preferably S4/HANA
Knowledge of master data elements within SAP S4/HANA
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, supporting cross‑functional teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and large ERP systems, with strong technical acumen and data analysis capabilities
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a diplomatic approach to ensure stakeholder engagement
Strong organizational, time‑management, and attention‑to‑detail skills, with a commitment to confidentiality and continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications:
ERP migration experience a plus
Strong financial skills and understanding of financial concepts and business principles
Experience with public company compliance requirements preferred including process owner responsibilities for policy and procedures and internal SOX controls over financial reporting in a financial shared services environment

Working Conditions: While performing the job duties, you will be working in an office environment. You will be required to work in the office at the Federal St, Andover, MA office three days per week (Monday - Wednesday) and can work remotely two days per week (Thursday and Friday).
Physical Requirements: Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to:
Ability to remain seated/standing at a desk or workstation for extended periods.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks like typing on a keyboard or using a mouse for extended periods.
Ability to read documents and communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, with management, coworkers, and third parties.
Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, phones, and copiers.
Ability to physically move around the office and occasionally lift and carry light objects, such as office supplies, documents, or small equipment.
