Senior Infrastructure Engineer (L3)- Linux systems, AWS, & Nutanix environment.
Location: Los Angeles Metroplex, CA • Duration: Long Term Contract • Company: DCM Infotech Limited
Key Responsibilities
Manage and support Nutanix environments, including Nutanix Flow, AHV, AOS, and Prism.
Create, manage, and troubleshoot Nutanix security policies and micro‑segmentation.
Perform Nutanix cluster creation, expansion, and migration of workloads from VMware to Nutanix.
Administer Linux servers, including OS versions, lifecycle management, and enterprise‑scale deployments.
Deploy and manage workloads on AWS and other hyperscalers (Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Utilize Ansible/Terraform for infrastructure automation and management.
Manage storage technologies (SAN) and perform updates and firmware upgrades.
Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain clear communication with leadership, colleagues, and customers.
Required Skills
Expert‑level experience with Linux administration, Nutanix Flow, AHV, AOS, and Prism.
Proven experience in Linux system administration and virtualization technologies (VMware).
Hands‑on experience with AWS and other hyperscalers.
Proficiency in Ansible/Terraform for automation.
Strong knowledge of storage technologies and networking fundamentals.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Python/PowerShell scripting.
Knowledge of database platforms relevant to Windows and Linux server support.
Understanding of security and identity management (AAA).
