Join our growing company dedicated to building an AI-powered data privacy solution. We are seeking a diligent, detail-oriented, proactive, and trustworthy Bookkeeper who will play an essential role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with GAAP. You will manage daily bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks, communicate with a CPA firm, and support financial operations across the organization.
Job Summary: As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for recording, organizing, and maintaining all financial transactions. You will manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank and credit card statements, and assist in preparing financial reports. This position requires accuracy, accountability, and strong knowledge of QuickBooks to support the company’s accounting processes and reporting needs.
Responsibilities:
Record day-to-day financial transactions in QuickBooks, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice tracking and payment scheduling.
Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations on a monthly basis.
Support payroll preparation by providing relevant financial information.
Generate financial statements and assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Collaborate with external accountants during audits, tax filings, and year-end closings.
Monitor company expenses and provide accurate reporting to management.
Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and internal financial policies.
Maintain organized and up-to-date digital and physical financial records.
Qualifications:
3 years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounting Clerk, or similar role.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and general accounting principles.
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
Good understanding of accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools.
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
2–4 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a small to mid-sized business environment.
Salary Range $70,000 - $123,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
