We are looking for both Continuous Improvement Engineer I and II to focus on business processes, new product development projects, supplier improvement efforts, & customer/product issues and reports to the OpEx Manager.
Continuous Improvement & Quality Engineer – Key Responsibilities:
Lead Kaizen events, value stream mapping, time studies, and process audits (Gemba Walks).
Develop and maintain Standard Work, PFDs, FMEAs, Control Plans, and Job Element Sheets.
Conduct root cause analysis using 5-Why, A3, and Cause & Effect diagrams.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) through validation and test plans.
Perform gauge studies and statistical analysis using voice of the customer insights.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and drive process improvements.
Conduct inspections and testing to ensure product quality and compliance.
Manage Quality Alerts, CAPAs, Deviations, MDRs, Validations, and QWC reviews.
Maintain Quality System effectiveness and support documentation for new product launches.
Collaborate across departments to resolve issues and improve equipment reliability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., engineering, statistics, manufacturing).
CI Engineer I: 1+ years related experience or training.
CI Engineer II: 3+ years experience in manufacturing, quality systems, and continuous improvement.
Familiarity with Toyota Production System, ISO-9000/TS-16949, and statistical tools.
Strong problem‑solving skills and understanding of lean principles.
