Schedule Monday – Friday 7am to 4pm

Compensation $21.00 – $28.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Works closely with clients, families, and staff (registered dietitians, therapists, culinary services, and frontline team members) to support the execution of dietitian‑prescribed diet orders and meal plans.

Utilizes knowledge of nutrition principles to provide basic nutrition education to clients and culinary services.

Assists the registered dietitian and basic culinary support as needed.

Communicates all diet orders, allergies/food intolerances, and dietary accommodations to the culinary team.

Collaborates with registered dietitians and culinary services to ensure all diet orders and dietary needs prescribed by the registered dietitian are accurately accommodated.

Assists the culinary team with managing dietary accommodations.

Partners with the culinary team in executing production of individualized client trays per the tray ticket system.

Provides active meal coaching and support for clients in Therapeutic Support Meals as assigned.

Plans, prepares, facilitates assigned nutrition groups, and completes documentation of those groups in the EHR.

Assists the dietitian in completing a variety of clinical tasks such as daily weight tracking, group preparation, meal‑plan compliance, and meal planning.

Supports the culinary team in maintaining the patient pantry with proper labeling of food items, including allergies, dietary modifications, and portioning language (e.g., exchanges, entrée, and sides).

Qualifications

Associate degree in Dietetic Technology or a bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Science or Nutrition. Commission on Dietetic Registration registration is not required.

Employees at residential or inpatient sites must have a valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive.

One year of clinical or public health experience preferred.

Previous eating disorder experience preferred.
