The Role As the Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager at Overjet, you will play a crucial role in building out our sales force, driving our sales efforts, and expanding our customer base. You will hire, lead, and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives, develop sales strategies, and execute them to achieve company sales targets.
Responsibilities
Hit, beat, and raise quarterly targets.
Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high‑performing sales development team, setting clear goals and fostering a collaborative culture.
Develop comprehensive sales development strategies aligned with company objectives, market trends, and customer needs; identify target markets, segments, and key accounts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dental professionals, and dental organizations; understand their pain points and refine product offerings accordingly.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, potential partnerships, and emerging customer needs; use insights to shape sales strategies.
Collaborate closely with product management, marketing, and customer success to align sales efforts with overall company goals.
Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior management; communicate sales performance, pipeline status, and key insights.
Qualifications
5+ years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in an outbound top‑of‑funnel role and/or managing SDR/BDR teams.
2+ years selling into SMB markets, ideally within dentistry or related competitive industries.
Proven track record of consistently exceeding pipeline and meeting targets as a leader or high‑performing contributor.
Strong leadership, mentorship, and coaching skills—capable of inspiring and holding SDRs accountable.
Experience designing and executing outbound sales development strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust with team members, partners, and prospects.
Data‑driven mindset; ability to use metrics to guide performance, uncover opportunities, and iterate on process.
Proficiency with CRM and sales‑engagement tools.
Thrives in a fast‑paced, technical, mission‑driven environment.
Must work in‑person from our Lehi, Utah office.
