$32.30/hr - $39.50/hr Epsilon Systems Solutions is seeking a full-time CIWS Technician II in San Diego, CA. Duties and Responsibilities
Direct, oversee repair activities, train, troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain the following: Close-In Weapon System (CIWS) and associated systems; Rolling Airframe Missile Launchers (RAM) and associated systems; Rolling Airframe Missile Guided Missile Launching System (RAM-GMLS); provide technical support for procurement, installation, at-sea testing, preventive/corrective maintenance, and lifecycle management of systems. Interpret technical manuals, apply repair standards, and maintain accurate technical documentation. Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance NEC (Navy Enlisted Qualifications) in related system: CIWS (V02A), SEARAM (V39B), RAM (V01A) 4+ years of related experience with shipboard systems and associated systems Strong technical comprehension with the ability to read and interpret manuals and standards Effective communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision Proficient with hand tools and multi-meters Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related technical applications Knowledge of 3M Fiber Optics Technician Certificate Pay Range
The pay range for this role is $32.30-$39.50 Hourly. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by various factors including business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience. Frequent standing, sitting, walking, handling, feeling with hands, reaching with arms. Regular communication (hearing and speaking). Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting of heavy objects. Ability to go aboard ships, barges and other naval craft. Ability to move in narrow and restricted passageways, up/down steep and narrow ladders or stairways onboard ships. Ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 50 lbs. in weight.
