Requirements Engineer - Access/Start

Key Responsibilities
Define, document, and manage system and software requirements for Access/Start features. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (systems, hardware, software, and validation) to ensure alignment and traceability. Work closely with feature owners, architects, and suppliers to clarify and refine requirements. Support change management and impact analysis for feature or system updates. Participate in reviews, issue tracking, and validation activities to ensure process compliance. Use tools such as IBM DOORS, Polarion, or similar RM tools to manage requirement baselines and traceability. Support functional safety (ISO 26262) and ASPICE process adherence where applicable. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, or Systems Engineering (or related field). 3–5 years of experience as a Requirements, Systems, or Feature Engineer in the automotive domain. Experience with Access/Start, Keyless Entry, or Body Control Module (BCM) systems. Proficiency in requirements management tools (IBM DOORS preferred). Strong understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN). Excellent communication and documentation skills. Familiarity with Functional Safety (ISO 26262) or ASPICE processes is a plus.
