Construction Litigation Attorney Location: Deerfield Beach, FL (also Fort Lauderdale, FL) • Employment Type: Full-time • Seniority Level: Not Applicable

Responsibilities

Handle all aspects of construction litigation, including contract disputes, defect claims, lien enforcement, delay claims, and insurance coverage issues.

Represent clients in state and federal courts, arbitrations, mediations, and administrative proceedings.

Draft pleadings, discovery, dispositive motions, and trial briefs with precision and strategic insight.

Conduct depositions, manage expert witnesses, and prepare comprehensive case evaluations.

Collaborate closely with clients to develop litigation strategies aligned with business goals and risk tolerance.

Maintain a thorough understanding of Florida construction law, lien law, and applicable statutes and regulations.

Requirements

JD from an accredited law school.

Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing.

Board Certified in Construction Law by The Florida Bar.

Minimum of 5 years of construction litigation experience.

Strong analytical, negotiation, and courtroom skills.

Ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously with minimal supervision.
