Plumber Mechanic Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Plumber Mechanic to perform detailed restroom inspections and minor repairs across our entire campus. The role involves working on the overnight shift, completing work orders specifically in restrooms. While plumbing is the primary focus, the technician will also repair or replace bathroom stall walls, doors, locks, outlets, light switches, bulbs, ballasts, tiles, mirrors, and engage in wall patching and painting. The role also includes performing plumbing preventive maintenance on equipment like backflows, sump pumps, lift stations, and water heaters. Responsibilities
Perform detailed restroom inspections and minor repairs. Complete work orders for restrooms across the campus. Repair or replace bathroom stall walls, doors, and locks. Change outlets, light switches, bulbs, and ballasts. Replace damaged tiles, hang mirrors, patch walls, and paint. Conduct plumbing preventive maintenance on backflows, sump pumps, lift stations, and water heaters. Supervise a helper working under them. Repair or replace toilets, sinks, shower heads, urinals, faucets, or drinking fountains. Locate and repair leaks. Document status of work orders in the CMMS. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in plumbing and troubleshooting. Experience in facilities maintenance and repair. Knowledge of mechanical and preventive maintenance. Ability to detect and repair leaks. Plumbing License preferred. 5+ years of commercial plumbing experience. Valid driver's license. High School Diploma or GED required. Schedule
The role requires working the overnight shift from Monday to Friday, 11pm to 7:30am. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $66,186.00 - $72,804.00/yr. Health, vision, dental, 401k Workplace Type
