Field Account Manager - Remote/ Mid-Atlantic Region In the Field Account Manager role, you will be responsible for all sales results of mid-size and large accounts in the assigned territory and for developing strong customer relationships in accordance with the organizational strategy in the Mid-Atlantic region. This remote position requires travel to the Maryland/DC area 3‑5 days a week.

Territory The Greater Washington, DC Area.

Responsibilities

Promote the organization’s products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range, or key account to achieve sales and revenue targets.

Identify new business opportunities aligned with the overall market and growth strategy.

Travel 60% of the time across the Mid‑Atlantic territory to attend sales meetings and client engagements.

Use Salesforce to manage and document leads and opportunities, ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date customer information.

Analyze Salesforce data for customers to generate insights, track performance, and support decision making.

Drive newly launched products and services into the marketplace and follow up on sales activity implementation.

Assess customer needs, generate leads, respond to inquiries, and suggest suitable products and services.

Develop and implement account plans and coordinate resources in line with those plans.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create market perception and strategies to grow account business.

Partner closely with application services and sales support.

Participate in marketing activities within the territory.

Build and maintain strong long‑term customer relationships.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of sales experience, preferably in laboratory and/or process‑based life‑science functions.

1+ year(s) hands‑on experience with CRM tools (Salesforce recommended).

Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.

Desired Skills

Master’s degree in Life Science, Engineering, or related field (a plus).

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, able to work independently.

Strong teamwork and cross‑functional collaboration ability.

Pay and Incentives $100,000 – $120,000 per year (base) plus sales incentive plan and a car allowance.
