Key Responsibilities Traffic‑driving expert
Execution of the retail commercial calendar: creating and delivering in‑store assets and marketing initiatives; managing calendars and measuring effectiveness.
Developing and deploying traffic‑driving initiatives and strategy unique to each store and market.
Creating and managing in‑store events in partnership with local store management.
Managing retail store advertising initiatives and email marketing platform; promoting events using social media presence and CRM.
Developing and maintaining the retail loyalty program.
Connecting organizational initiatives with local partners, influencers, and markets to establish a store in its community and drive traffic.
Organizing and leading outside marketing and sales events such as boat shows and ski shows.
Partnering with various charities and organizations.
Ensuring all printed, published, and digital communications adhere to the strict brand guidelines.
Managing the entire lifecycle of retail marketing initiatives from concept development through briefing graphic designs, ensuring timely delivery of assets.
Ensuring marketing budgets of stores are maintained, effective, and appropriate without overspend.
Visual Merchandising and In‑store Experience Expert
Managing development, timely delivery, and execution of in‑store visual elements including window campaigns, POP, seasonal and campaign elements aligned with retail commerce.
Ensuring excellent visual merchandising standards through in‑store visits and tool usage.
Maintaining the “atmosphere” of retail stores at an exceptional level.
Developing and delivering customer experience elements and briefing teams/partners on new concepts.
Providing feedback with product and visual merchandising teams on planograms and in‑store displays.
Extrapolating global retail marketing and visual merchandising initiatives into local regional needs and creating deployment plans.
Experience / Skills Required
Passion for the outdoors, skiing, and/or sailing.
Desire to act as an ambassador for the brand and organization.
3–5 years combined marketing experience, including retail sales or community marketing.
BA/BS Degree (preferably with a marketing focus).
Self‑starter, taking initiative to drive projects independently.
Strong direct & indirect leadership skills.
Strong operational knowledge of marketing tools and tactics and ability to align resources to achieve objectives.
Proven record of collaborating with multiple stakeholders to achieve success while maintaining brand vision.
Project management experience.
Excellent presentation skills.
Inability to accept mediocrity; insists on excellence.
Sales experience / sales‑oriented POV.
Superior communication skills: outgoing, personable, articulate, persuasive, and open‑minded.
Experience working with a global consumer products brand preferred.
Experience in the outdoor industry is a plus.
Computer skills: Microsoft Office (Excel), Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator.
