We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Data Integration Engineer / Architect to design, implement, and optimize integration solutions that connect Salesforce with enterprise systems, data warehouses, and third‑party applications. The role combines technical expertise in integration patterns with architectural vision to ensure secure, scalable, and high‑performance data flows across platforms. Responsibilities
Architecture & Design
– Design scalable data integration architecture between Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, AgentForce, etc.) and external systems; define integration patterns (real‑time, batch, event‑driven, API‑led, ETL) and select the appropriate approach per use case; establish data governance, security, and compliance standards; recommend middleware or integration platforms. Implementation
– Build, configure, and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, ETL tools, or custom solutions; develop data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and synchronizing Salesforce data with on‑premises or cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery); implement event‑driven integrations using Salesforce Platform Events, Change Data Capture, or Streaming APIs; optimize data flows for performance, error handling, retry logic, and resiliency. Data Management
– Define data models, mapping, and transformations between Salesforce and other systems; ensure high‑quality, clean, and consistent data across environments; manage large‑scale data migrations into and out of Salesforce, including validation, deduplication, and reconciliation; monitor data pipelines and integrations for performance, availability, and compliance. Collaboration & Leadership
– Partner with Salesforce administrators, developers, business analysts, and enterprise architects to align integration design with business needs; provide technical leadership and mentoring to integration developers or data engineers; participate in code reviews, solution design sessions, and technical workshops; document integration architecture, data flows, and technical standards. Skills and Qualifications
10+ years of experience in the IT industry, with 10+ years in Salesforce integration work and 5+ years in delivering enterprise‑level data integration projects. 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery). Strong hands‑on experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming, Metadata). Experience with integration/middleware platforms (AWS API Gateway, MuleSoft). Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL). Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline development. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred (or equivalent experience). Candidates are encouraged to hold Salesforce and integration platform certifications. Technical Expertise
Hands‑on experience with Salesforce cloud applications: Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud. Experience with Tableau for BI solutions on Salesforce ecosystem. Understanding of API management, versioning, throttling, and security (OAuth, SAML, JWT, TLS). Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2). Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and Agile/Scrum delivery skills. Excellent documentation and communication skills. Compensation
Compensation will be commensurate with experience, location, and qualifications. The role offers a discretionary bonus per incentive plan and a total rewards package including health, dental, vision, retirement, and wellness benefits. Work Location
