Overview SAIC is seeking an
Agile Master Scheduler
to support SAIC’s Prime Program, Landmark AOS in Chantilly, VA.
As the
Agile Master Scheduler , you will provide technical/professional expertise on a variety of Agile Systems Engineering topics (e.g., schedule management, requirements, readiness, verification and validation), and advise the government on program office activities to enable end‑to‑end program closure.
Job Responsibilities
Serve as the technical expert for the development, maintenance and assessment of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for Agile software acquisition activities.
Interact with government project management and functional managers to define scope of work and develop detailed schedules and roadmaps.
Proactively develop, maintain and manage detailed project schedules throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
Integrate developer schedules to generate and maintain an accurate organization‑level master schedule.
Coordinate project‑level impact analyses of proposed engineering changes.
Evaluate schedule progress and performance, identify variances and highlight developing problem areas.
Analyze critical path and constraints to determine effects of changes and recommend work‑arounds.
Support Agile quarterly cyclic planning and delivery cadence for the program office.
Contribute to Agile process evolution across government teams, contractors, and stakeholders based on best practices for schedule management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience; Master’s with 3+ years; or PhD with 0 years of related experience (education may be substituted by experience).
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Proficiency using Jira/BigPicture and Microsoft Project to organize, implement and maintain roadmaps and schedules.
Ability to identify schedule slips and resource constraints, track metrics against baselines and recommend actions to maintain schedule integrity.
Experience with agile methods (Scrum, SAFe) in a software development environment or formal agile training.
Strong organizational, planning, management, problem‑solving and execution skills across multiple projects.
Ability to prepare and present reports to all levels of management.
Strong attention to detail and proven success working in team environments.
Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
Other Requirements
Minimum clearance required: TS/SCI with polygraph.
No remote work; full‑time day shift.
No travel required.
