Part Time Nights, weekdays and rotating weekends
Shift:
5pm - 3:30am

The community you'll be caring for:
401 PALMETTO ST, New Smyrna Beach, 32168
Role Summary
Ensures patients are appropriately registered for all service lines. Performs eligibility verification, obtains pre‑cert and/or authorizations, makes financial arrangements, requests and receives payments for services, performs cashiering functions, clears registration errors and edits pre‑bill, and other duties as required. Maintains a close working relationship with clinical partners to ensure continual open communication. Actively participates in extending exemplary service to both internal and external customers. Provides PBX coverage and support as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively seek assistance to improve responsibilities and maintain a working relationship with clinical partners.
Verify patient identity and register patients for all services, aiming for department‑specific accuracy goals.
Calculate and provide patients with accurate estimates of financial responsibility, including co‑pays, deductibles, and co‑insurance.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Graduate or equivalent.
1 year of experience in customer service.
