Job Summary
Franciscan Medical Group is seeking a Clinic LPN for our Regional Float Team in the King County Region. Experienced LPNs may apply for an excellent opportunity to learn clinical details across both primary and specialty Virginia Mason Franciscan Health clinics. The role offers additional compensation for flexibility to travel across the Puget Sound area while expanding knowledge in ambulatory patient care. This is a high‑performing team opportunity with skills transferable to all ambulatory clinics.
Essential Job Duties
Greet and prepare patients for the practitioner; provide patient mobility assistance as needed.
Obtain and record vital signs and relevant patient information (e.g., height, weight, allergies, current medications, presenting problem).
Anticipate patient and practitioner needs during the exam, ensuring privacy and comfort.
Screen, gather information, and communicate via telephone and in‑person contact; document calls to meet standards.
Administer ordered medications via oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular, intradermal, or sublingual routes; start and maintain IV fluids/medications.
Inform patients of lab results, process prescriptions to pharmacies, and handle practitioner phone messages.
Prepare, clean, and sterilize instruments; maintain equipment and keep exam rooms orderly.
Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures; instruct patients in collection of samples.
Participate in continuing education, meetings, committees, and professional development activities; maintain professional affiliations.

Job Requirements
Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
One year LPN experience in a clinic setting OR two years of acute care LPN experience.
Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.
If assigned to the Float Pool, a current driver’s license and ability to drive to assigned locations.
