Heartland Imaging . Heartland Imaging is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a PRN position at our outpatient imaging centers located on Dixie Highway and in Elizabethtown, KY. The role supports a patient-focused team and aims to provide quality imaging and compassionate patient care. Overview
Under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director, the MRI technologist performs routine to complex magnetic resonance procedures and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner. The technologist ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements, and collaborates with the imaging center team to support continuous improvement in clinical practice. Perform routine to complex magnetic resonance procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images for interpretation. Ensure patient safety and comfort; adhere to established guidelines and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with the imaging center team and contribute to continuous improvement in clinical practice. Qualifications
Experience : Up to 1 year experience as an MRI Technologist.
Education : Minimum Associate's Degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program. License/Certification Requirements : Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography, or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) and maintain current valid registration from ARRT or ARMRIT. MR advanced registration through ARRT or ARMRIT is required upon hire for IDTF centers. Non-IDTF centers require MR advanced registry within the first 12 months of employment. Must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice. Skills/Abilities : Knowledge of routine to complex MRI procedures and protocols. Skill in operation of MRI equipment and applicable ancillary equipment. Ability to work independently and multitask. Ability to document accurately and concisely. Understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology. Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving data. Additional Information
