We are seeking a board-certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Louisiana starting Dec 1, 2025. This opportunity features a schedule of 24-hour call coverage for 34 days per week, including one weekend of call coverage and 8-hour inpatient rounding and surgery shifts. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Louisiana license or IMLC eligibility and possess both Basic Life Support (BLS) and Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) certifications.

Responsibilities and Duties Perform inpatient rounding for cardiovascular and thoracic surgery patients Provide surgical consults for cardiovascular and thoracic cases Deliver emergency room call coverage as assigned
Additional Information Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery required Must hold active Louisiana license or be eligible via IMLC Basic Life Support (BLS) and Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) certifications required
