Goc Mission Systems Support - Coop Systems Analyst
USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments. Responsibilities for this position include: Leveraging COOP subject matter expertise in support of GOC Mission Systems engineering services and RDT&E activities. Providing multi-disciplinary support for mission system services, including life cycle management, engineering, integration, and sustainment of required systems and assured connectivity in the GOC and all other locations within the USSTRATCOM Enterprise. Supporting the planning, development, testing, and delivery of holistic IT solutions for GOC Mission Systems. Supporting COOP planning, performing DR testing, and coordinating with owners of new systems to ensure disaster recovery requirements are considered and disaster recovery plans are made. Enhancing and maintaining DR/COOP documentation and validating recovery capabilities through periodic testing, including targeted recovery tests that are conducted throughout the year. Performing technical and service planning and analysis based on GOC Mission Systems requirements (e.g., availability, capacity, performance, backup and IT continuity, and DR services). Performing shift work to ensure 7x24 coverage and support. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
