What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Gather requirements, design, and implement solutions using the employer's application suite Integrate the employer's application suite with third-party software interfaces Develop and maintain project documentation and standard operating procedures Lead or assist in training sessions with customers and provide implementation support Act as a liaison between the employer, customers, third-party vendors, and industry consultants
What is Required (Qualifications)
College diploma or University degree in a related technical field (e.g., Electric or Computer Engineering, Computer Science) Strong grasp of SQL and experience with one or more Enterprise Database Software (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) Comfortable working in Linux and Windows environments Ability to travel in North America up to 30% of the time Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
3+ years of relevant work experience in software implementation Strong working knowledge of object-oriented design (C/C++ or Java) Previous experience in training customers and writing technical documents Experience in the Utilities industry is an asset but not required Strong analytical skills to understand requirements and a positive attitude
