Senior ServiceNow Developer
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join a Government Consulting company located in Ashburn, VA through a hybrid work environment (onsite 2-3 days per week). The Senior ServiceNow Developer will design, configure, and implement ServiceNow modules and integrations to support DHS mission objectives and modernization initiatives. Responsibilities: Develop and configure ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, HR, GRC, etc.) to meet mission requirements. Build workflows, dashboards, catalog items, and integrations with enterprise systems. Implement automation and performance improvements across ServiceNow capabilities. Write clean, maintainable JavaScript using Glide API (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Scheduled Jobs). Implement integrations using REST/SOAP, MID Server, IntegrationHub, and scripted transforms. Participate in Agile ceremonies; estimate and deliver within Scrum sprints. Ensure compliance with FedRAMP, FISMA, and Section 508 standards. Qualifications: Experience: 7+ years of development experience, including 3+ years in a senior ServiceNow developer role. Skills: ServiceNow architecture, scripting, integrations (APIs, web services, MID servers), automation, and performance tuning. Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and Certified Application Developer (Architect certifications preferred). Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related discipline OR 3+ years of relevant specialized experience. Clearance: Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance (any agency) OR ACTIVE DHS CBP OR ICE Public Trust clearance. Compensation: Salary Range: $140,000-$160,000/ year depending on experience Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays Clearance Level: Must be eligible to work in the United States and maintain an active US government TS/SCI (any agency) OR ACTIVE DHS CBP OR ICE Public Trust security clearance Location: Hybrid - onsite 2-3 days per week in Ashburn, VA
