Taylor Corporation Printing Press Support Technician
Taylor Corporation is looking for a Printing Press Support Technician to join our team at Label Works in North Mankato, Minnesota. Your responsibilities will include setting up, calibrating, and operating a 6-color printing press to produce high-quality labels. You will inspect printed materials for color accuracy, registration, and overall quality. You will also perform routine maintenance and cleaning to ensure consistent press performance. Additionally, you will load and manage inks, paper, and materials; adjust ink levels and press settings as needed. Troubleshooting printing issues such as color misalignment, streaking, or press malfunctions is also part of your role. You will follow all safety procedures and maintain compliance with company policies and industry standards. You will work efficiently to meet production goals and deadlines while minimizing waste. Your shift will be the 3rd shift: Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. You must have a strong understanding of color theory, ink mixing, and printing processes. You should be able to troubleshoot both mechanical and print-related issues. You need strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You should also have the physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods. We would also prefer previous experience operating a multi-color printing press, the ability to distinguish colors accurately, experience in a production or manufacturing environment, and a high school diploma or equivalent. The anticipated hourly range for this position is $18 - $21. The actual base offered depends on several factors, including qualifications, relevant experience, specific skills, education, certifications, and location. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package.
