We have an opportunity for an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) III supporting one of our Federal customers in Philadelphia, PA. Minimum Clearance Level: Secret Citizenship: US Citizenship Location: Philadelphia, PA. The Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) III will act as the front-line system administrator supporting Naval Surface Warfare Division (NSWD) systems and applications. This position will support the CIO, ISSM, ISSO and validator with the maintenance and enhancement of Navy Band systems and architecture to achieve and maintain Certification and Accreditation or other DOD compliance requirements. Position Description: Perform Information Assurance tasks required for RMF Assessment & Authorization (A&A) processes for USN systems. Perform system configuration, testing, and develop documentation to be used in the RMF overall process. Assist with the developing, maintaining, and tracking Risk Management Framework (RMF) system security plans, which include System Categorization Forms, Platform Information Technology (PIT) Determination Checklists, Assess Only (AO) Determination Checklists, Implementation Plans, System Level Continuous Monitoring (SLCM) Strategies, System Level Policies, Hardware Lists, Software List, System Diagrams, Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M). Enter and keep up to date the Security Authorization Package, security controls and required artifacts into eMASS. Participate RMF meetings and collaboration sessions with Navy Surface Warfare activities, Echelon II, Navy's Authorizing Official (NAO) and Security Control Assessor (SCA) and SCA Liaison. Working with validator, ensure that the actions required by the Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M) are implemented appropriately to ensure the continued risk and security posture of Navy systems. Support the periodic documentation of any DOD/DON waivers or reporting requirements, as required (e.g. HBSS, PKI, PPSM or GIG). Provide System Administrator support to the headquarters and Navy surface Warfare activities, including configuration maintenance, system hardening, and fielding ad-hoc support requests. Provide and maintain hardened system images for both the Headquarters and Fleet Band public affairs office (PAO) and audio system laptops. Provide technical support to HQ and Fleet Band staff as necessary. Support CIO/ISSM during fielding of new technology, to include providing Navy Cyber Security Impact, Security Evaluation, and Technology Recommendations. Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or an equivalent STEM l degree from an accredited college or university. Qualifications: Active Secret Clearance Seven (7) years professional experience capturing and refining information security operational and security requirements, and ensuring those requirements are properly addressed through purposeful development, and configuration, and implementing security controls, configuration changes, software/hardware updates/patches, vulnerability scanning, and securing configurations. Certifications: One of the Following CASP+ CE CCNP Security CISA CISSP (or Associate) GCED GCIH CCSP. Excentium, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
