As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Intern, you'll be working on a team that is responsible for digitizing our products and services to bring them online to meet our customer needs. You'll gain hands-on experience with modern cloud infrastructure practices, including cloud computing (Azure), infrastructure as code (Terraform/Git), containerization (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps). You'll also develop expertise in observability, logging, and system architecture - equipping you to streamline development workflows and empower teams to focus on innovation and delivering value. You'll have the opportunity to work with engineers, architecture roles within the organization, such as Network Architects, Solutions Architects, Data Architects, Business Architects and Enterprise Architects. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Learn to implement observability practices, tools and processes that increase visibility into how solutions are performing. Work across technology and business teams to provide systems infrastructure and platform architectural direction and oversight for both on-premise and cloud-based solutions. Learn how infrastructure and platforms standards are designed in concert with new and existing solutions. Support DevOps techniques and technologies. Develop an understanding of how on-premise and cloud-based systems and infrastructure are designed appropriately for security to ensure protection against current and future threats. Automate manual processes leveraging scripting and programming languages to improve efficiency and reliability. Contribute to documentation of platform processes, standards, and best practices. Solve problems by reviewing the objectives and scope, gathering facts, analyzing data, and preparing alternatives. Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Electrical Engineering, Data Science or similar degree. Minimum of 3.0 GPA. Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Available for a 12-week internship during summer. Intern Benefits
