The Pega Developer designs, configures, and implements enterprise workflow and automation solutions using the Pega Platform. This role transforms business processes into scalable, maintainable, and efficient digital workflows that drive operational efficiency and user satisfaction. The Pega Engineer partners closely with Business Analysts, Architects, and Project Managers to deliver secure, compliant, and optimized Pega applications that align with enterprise standards and program objectives. ***US CITIZEN ONLY*** Key Responsibilities

Design and configure end-to-end workflow solutions using Pega platform capabilities including Case Management, Decision Rules, and Process Flows. Develop reusable components, integrations, and user interfaces following Pega best practices and design standards. Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications within Pega. Implement and maintain integration with external systems using REST, SOAP, or message-based interfaces. Configure access control, authentication, and authorization consistent with enterprise security and compliance frameworks. Support Pega application performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution. Participate in code reviews, quality checks, and solution validation to ensure maintainability and scalability. Develop reporting and analytics configurations to support operational metrics, dashboards, and performance visibility. Document configurations, rulesets, and system behaviors for traceability and support readiness. Stay current with Pega platform updates, emerging features, and industry best practices to continuously improve solution design. Required Skills and Experience

4+ years of experience developing and configuring applications on the Pega Platform (8.x or higher). Strong understanding of Pega application architecture, case management, decisioning, and data management concepts. Hands-on experience integrating Pega with external systems and data sources via APIs, connectors, and services. Familiarity with Pega DevOps practices, including version management, deployment pipelines, and testing automation. Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, SSO, LDAP) and enterprise security best practices. Ability to interpret and implement requirements into modular, reusable, and maintainable rulesets. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with experience working in agile delivery teams. Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) or Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification strongly preferred. Preferred:

Experience with analytics and reporting features within Pega for capacity, utilization, or workflow optimization. Exposure to healthcare, insurance, or regulated industry environments. Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools for agile delivery and defect tracking.
