What You’ll Do
Koalafi is seeking a Business Analyst focused on Operations Analytics to provide high-impact analysis and reporting that supports our day-to-day operations and long-term strategic goals. This role sits at the intersection of data, business processes, and performance optimization. You will partner closely with operations, customer experience, and product stakeholders to deliver actionable insights that improve process efficiency, service quality, and operational scalability.
This is an opportunity to deeply understand the mechanics of a high-growth fintech company while making measurable improvements across core operational functions. In this role you will:
Analyze operational workflows, processes, and performance trends to identify improvement opportunities.
Deliver and support regular operations reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track team and system performance.
Respond to ad hoc data requests and deep-dive analyses related to queue management, turnaround times, service levels, and operational health metrics.
Create and maintain data models and queries that support efficient reporting and performance forecasting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define metrics and analytical approaches that evaluate operational experiments or initiatives.
Support business planning by building scenario models and workforce capacity forecasts.
Identify root causes of operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies; provide evidence-based recommendations.
Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards that provide real-time insight into operations.
Present findings to stakeholders and leadership in clear, compelling formats that drive informed decision-making.
About You (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytical field required (Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, etc.); master’s degree preferred
1-2 years of experience in business analysis or operations analytics
Experience in fast-paced, operationally complex environments relating to consumer finance preferred
Strong SQL skills; able to manipulate and interpret large operational datasets
Experience building self-serve BI tools using Tableau or equivalent
Familiarity with forecasting, process mapping, and operational modeling
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous environment
