eCommerce IT Business Analyst/Product Owner
We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst/Product Owner with a solid background in Agile methodologies, business analysis, and technical implementation—particularly within the eCommerce domain. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of business and technical acumen, excellent analytical skills, and outstanding communication capabilities. This role involves working closely with IT leadership to oversee digital initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams (onshore and offshore), and deliver measurable project outcomes. The Analyst/Product Owner will be responsible for backlog management, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and driving digital product enhancements aligned with business priorities. Key Responsibilities Act as a subject matter expert to support strategic and process improvement initiatives related to eCommerce platforms. Define, prioritize, and manage the digital workstream backlog including epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Collaborate directly with Scrum teams and Product Managers to ensure delivery aligns with the product roadmap. Maintain transparent and consistent communication with stakeholders, facilitating demos and collecting feedback. Serve as the voice of the customer in product discussions, advocating for user needs throughout the product lifecycle. Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Develop plans for business-critical projects covering requirements gathering, UAT, and stakeholder communications. Recommend system/process enhancements and ensure proper configuration and documentation. Provide training and support to business users on implemented tools and technologies. Conduct root cause analysis, document solutions, and follow through on resolutions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience as a Technical/Business Analyst in eCommerce or digital product environments. Proven success in delivering scalable software solutions supporting digital commerce operations. At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud or comparable eCommerce platforms. Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and eCommerce best practices. Proficient in Agile methodologies, backlog grooming, and writing epics/user stories. Experience with tools such as JIRA and Confluence. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
