Overview
Northstrat is seeking a junior developer with a willingness to learn and grow on an exciting new, greenfield development program. Responsibilities include implementing microservice solutions for complex problems based on well-defined Jira tickets. Solutions should be clean, maintainable code with full automated test coverage. You will be responsible for adhering to our software development best practices and code quality standards. From a day-to-day perspective, you will participate in our fully Agile development process including daily standups, iteration planning, and retrospectives. You will write code that is deployed to the cloud via a fully automated DevSecOps pipeline. The ideal candidate desires to learn new technologies (frontend, backend, database, and CI/CD) and best development practices from outstanding senior developers. Responsibilities

Adhere to software development best practices and code quality standards. Participate in an Agile development process (daily standups, iteration planning, retrospectives). Qualifications
Must have an active TS/SCI with CI poly clearance to be eligible Bachelors Degree in STEM field or related experience is required Must be available to work in-person in Sterling, VA or Aurora, CO 0-4 years of developer experience Proficiency with Linux development including command line Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java Current Security+ (or similar) certification or willingness to obtain

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including geographic location, contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. We offer competitive compensation, benefits, and professional development opportunities. Flex Time: Northstrat does not mandate specific working hours. An average of 8 hours per weekday over a month is typical, with project-driven variations.
