Immediate opening for a Full Time Forklift Operator / Back Up Yard Driver to join us at Ryder in Port Deposit, MD. Warehouse Pays Weekly Driver Positions Pay Weekly Hourly Pay: $21.50 Per Hour Hours Per Week: 40+ hours per week Schedule: Varies Start Time: AM Deliver SOLO To: Yard Jockey and Offsite Fueling Route: Local Home Daily Tractor Type: Yard Tractor - Yard experience a must Trailer Type: Dry Van 48', 53' Equipment: Cherry Pickers, Order Pickers, Pallet Jacks, Forklifts, etc Will assist in Warehouse when needed Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide. Minimum 21 years of age Must have verifiable driving experience in "like" equipment: 9 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years' experience within the last 10 years Pass a Ryder Drug Test Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years Pass a DOT physical Pass a Yard Driver Examination Must have a valid driver's license Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures Important Note:
Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned. Responsibilities
