Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician
Since 1988, Heritage Oaks has played a crucial role in the mental health system of northern California. As a 120-bed acute psychiatric hospital, we provide comprehensive treatment services tailored to teens, adults, and senior adults. Our services encompass substance abuse and chemical dependency treatment, accepting Medicare and most commercial health insurance plans. We prioritize service excellence, ensuring each patient receives optimal care.
Position Details:
- 1099/Independent contractor arrangement for your convenience. Lucrative annual compensation. Compensation up to $3,300 per day.
- The patient population will include adults and adolescents with diverse psychiatric and substance-abuse issues.
- 10-12 admission H&Ps, daily consult care with follow-ups for patients in behavioral health, inpatient and outpatient treatment, and on call hours.
- Medical management of routine illnesses as well as some specialty issues is in the scope of patient care under the physician.
- There is a full team of Psychiatrists on staff at the hospital for collaboration.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- MD/DO degree from an accredited program.
- Board Certification/Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Licensed to practice in California or eligibility to obtain a CA medical license.
- Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians.
