Senior System Administrator with Security Clearance

Summary: ClearanceJobs, on behalf of one of our customers, is currently seeking a full-time Senior System Administrator to work on-site in Fort Meade, MD. This position requires active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP). Required Experience/Education: Bachelor's / Communication Engineering or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or Information Systems and 15 years of professional experience. (20 years of experience without a degree) Experience configuring and managing Linux/Unix operating systems, and implementing automation/enhancements to improve reliability and performance Experience installing/loading operating system software, troubleshooting, and maintaining integrity Experience configuring network components in virtualized infrastructures - e.g. Cisco ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto Firewalls Experience patching operating systems to maintain enterprise/network security compliance Experience cabling, racking/stacking, and documenting IT systems for client, server, storage, network devices, etc. Experience remediating system and hardware problems throughout the resolution process Required Certifications: CWIP IAT 3 certified Required Skills: Linux / Unix command-line Scripting (Bash) Docker Kubernetes Ansible (Playbooks), Puppet Virtual Machine / IPSEC / VPN Tunnel (ASA to ASA) STE/STN; IAVA Patchingbfb3568a-762b-4989-884b-a9682aa104ca
