Join us!**Purpose of Job:**To consistently service and aggressively expand an assigned set of customers along a predetermined route.**Job Components:*** Sell new batteries to National Account dealers* Rotate batteries and collect cores* Maintain the route by keeping displays clean and keeping dealer list up to date* Service each National Account dealer* Establish, build and maintain good dealer relationships* Complete documentation on a timely basis* Collect and return junk and/or used batteries to Distributorship.**Qualifications:*** Must possess current CDL and have clean driving record.* Prior sales experience highly desirable* Good communication skills* Strong customer service skills.* High school diploma or GED equivalent* Current, valid state drivers license* Ability to read, write and compute basic math.* Minimum 2 years demonstrated sales , customer service and delivery experience**Scope Data:*** Uses frequent independent judgment when making decisions**Work Environment*** Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk.* Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus* Ability to lift and/or move 50+ lbs.* Exposed to battery warehouse conditions such as exposure to moving equipment mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals.Note: We do not accept resumes from headhunters, placement agencies, or other suppliers that have not signed a formal agreement with us.Interstate Batteries provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
