Senior Ground Software Engineer

Build high-performing command interfaces for mission-critical operations Build up telemetry analysis tools for quick spacecraft anomaly resolution and state of health assessment Develop satellite operations tools and automation to perform a variety of on-orbit and ground procedures Build efficient and reliable backend software to manage command and telemetry pathways Collaborate with the team to define ground software requirements and plan system architecture What You Bring To The Role:
At least 5 years' full-stack software experience using Python, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Express, Angular, NodeJS, SQL, etc. Experience developing large-scale, highly available systems Professional experience with DevOps tools (Git, Trac, Jenkins, Buildbot, etc.), CI/CD, and modern software practices in a cloud based environment Bonus Points For The Following:
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent Strong intellectual curiosity and commitment to learning Exceptional attention to detail and "extreme ownership" We are redefining how satellites are designed, manufactured and usedso we're looking for candidates with passion, deep knowledge and direct experience on LEO satellite component development, design and in-orbit activities. If that's your experience then we'll be immediately wow-ed. The estimated base salary range for this role is $100,000-150,000 per year. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position in question, which is based on market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on location, skills and expertise, depth of relevant experience, and other relevant factors.
