The Main Banker is responsible for providing a level of internal guest service which is gracious, kind, and warm that creates an exciting environment and World Class Service by delivering Old-World Hospitality and Charm with fellow Team Members. Comply and follow with strict adherence to Internal Control Policies and Procedures, state regulations, Bank Securities Act, Title 31 Rules and Regulations, and the company's Responsible Gaming Plan. Safeguards company assets and adhere to all cage policies and procedures Maintains and is held accountable for all funds entrusted to them on an assigned shift Creates teamwork by helping co-workers with essential function Balances all money transactions and paperwork Meets all attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies Adhere to all company policies and procedures to include strict adherence to attendance and appearance guidelines as well as confidentially Handles Team Member and guest financial transactions Required to be alert for fraud, forged/counterfeit currency and/or vouchers Balances all funds under his/her responsibility and prepare reconciliation reports accordingly Ensures, at all times, the cash inventory is well secured Required to fill in as Cage Cashier as assigned Conducts themselves in a gracious, kind, and warm manner that creates a sense of fondness, as well as professional, courteous, and responsive manner, which reflects positively on the company and its core values Other duties as assigned In addition to the other duties described herein, every Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations: Attend required training sessions offered by the casino Obtain required license(s) Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations Responsible for taking the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco Knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member's department Knowledge of the property's programs to address problem gambling Consult with the appropriate individuals and maintain an effective system of written policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with gaming regulations and Internal Controls Responsible for taking the appropriate steps to investigate exceptions, fraud, and potential violations and report such instances to the appropriate levels of management Reports any acts of wrongdoing on behalf of any Team Member that they have knowledge of The Main Banker is required to have a high school diploma or GED. Banking and guest service experience preferred. Must have a friendly demeanor and be able to communicate well with the public. Must be able to work in an intense and fast paced environment where a high degree of concentration is necessary to perform required job duties. Must demonstrate positive/enthusiastic approach to all assignments. Attendance and punctuality are an essential function of the position. Must be clean, well-groomed, and have a professional appearance. Must have an optimistic outlook, proven track record of leading, inspiring success in service excellence, attention to quality details, great communication skills and know how to deliver excitement.
