Analytics / Machine Learning Engineer
You will be a part of our Software Engineering organization. Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is one of four Lockheed Martin business areas. As a Analytics / Machine Learning Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Leverage advanced analytics, web development, data engineering, and machine learning to drive data-driven decision-making across MFC engineering and production. Apply advanced statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization methods to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in data from engineering development and production sources. Develop, implement, and advocate for AI-powered solutions. Key responsibilities will include: Collaborate with researchers and engineers to identify opportunities for AI/ML applications and develop proof-of-concepts. Establish rigorous standards for ML Ops strategies for various programs and applications. Maintain AI/ML systems, including data pipelines, model training, optimization, and deployment. Stay current with the latest advancements in AI/ML, including new algorithms, techniques, and tools. Collaborate with external partners, including academia and industry, to advance ML Ops research and applications. This position is onsite in Orlando, Florida. Basic Qualifications: Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in AI/ML research and deployment, with a strong background in ML Ops. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++. Experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn. Excellent software development skills, with experience in version control systems such as Git. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to obtain an interim secret security clearance prior to start and therefore must be US Citizen. Desired Skills: Experience with ML pipeline packages such as Flyte, Kubeflow pipelines, and MLFlow. Experience with data storage libraries such as Feathr and LakeFS. Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes. Strong understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques. Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems. Experience in deployment of AI and statistical algorithm systems on high performance compute infrastructure. Experience with AI/ML ethics, fairness, and transparency. This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.
