2026 Technology Summer Analyst Program (New York)

Join Morgan Stanley's 10-week Summer Analyst Program, where you'll be placed into a development, engineering, or business & data analytics team. This program offers a hands-on, project-based experience of working as a technologist in a top financial firm. Participants will attend an induction day, followed by direct team placement. The program includes working on live projects, networking events with senior management, technical demonstrations, team-building activities, and community service initiatives. Role and Responsibilities

Development Teams:

Design, develop, and maintain applications, meet with clients to analyze requirements, make system design decisions, and deploy applications. Projects include high-performance trading systems and complex workflow management. Enterprise Engineering Teams:

Develop systems supporting the firm’s infrastructure, including networks, hardware, operating systems, and databases. Projects include website engineering, system management, and client reporting tools. Business & Data Analytics Teams:

Engage with business units to analyze and validate requirements, providing data science, analytics, and process improvement skills to develop end-to-end solutions. Qualifications and Skills

Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and analytical skills 0-1 years in technology or related fields Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant technical fields, graduating between December 2026 and June 2029 Technical proficiency in Linux/Unix, Windows, and at least one programming language (e.g., C, C++, Java, C#) Knowledge of object-oriented development, data structures, algorithms, databases, and scripting For Business & Data Analytics: Studying towards a degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields, with graduation between December 2026 and June 2029 Interest in financial services and technical documentation skills Compensation includes a base salary between $70,000 and $110,000, plus potential bonuses and benefits, determined individually.
