Power BI Analyst

JOB DUTIES: Build automated reports and dashboards with the help of Power BI and other reporting tools. Understand business requirements to set functional specifications for reporting applications. Work with tools and systems on MS SQL Server BI Stack, including SSRS and TSQL, Power Query, MDX, PowerBI, and DAX to shape data into reporting and analytics solutions. Create functional reporting. Understand business requirements in the BI context and design data models to convert raw data to meaningful insights. Create dashboards and visual interactive reports using Power BI. Convert business requirements into technical specifications and decide the timeline to accomplish tasks. Perform DAX queries and functions in Power BI. Create charts and document data with algorithms, parameters, models, and relations explanations. Conduct data warehouse development. Use filters and graphs for better understanding of the data. Define and design new systems by analyzing current ETL processes. Make technical changes to existing BI systems to enhance their functioning. Work under supervision. Travel and/or relocation to unanticipated client sites throughout the USA is required. EDUCATION REQUIRED: Masters degree in Computer Science/IT/IS/Engineering (Any) or related field with six (6) months of experience in the job offered or as an IT Consultant/Analyst/Programmer/Developer or closely related field. Employer also accepts Bachelors degree in Computer Science/IT/IS/Engineering (Any) or related field plus five years of progressive work experience in related field. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Experience of six (6) months using SQL or Power BI tools is required. Travel and/or relocation to unanticipated client sites throughout the USA is required.
