This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located at customer's site. No relocation is offered. AT&T is hiring to support a US Government Program that provides IT Services to US Strategic Command located in Omaha Nebraska. Job Duties/Responsibilities
Perform systems administration for enterprise Omnissa (Horizon VDI) solutions, including installation, configuration, and maintenance. Analyze and resolve issues related to servers, hardware, applications, and software within the Omnissa environment. Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with security standards and organizational policies. Oversee daily system operations, evaluate server resource availability, and manage all Omnissa software activities. Assist in configuring, deploying, and maintaining virtual machines and backup configuration procedures. Maintain and monitor patch releases, design and implement patch installation strategies, and ensure systems are updated per program standards. Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 troubleshooting support, working with end users and technical teams to resolve complex issues. Support the creation, updating, and maintenance of images for VDI terminals, including application support and baseline management. Ensure VMware backend capacity and stability to support virtual desktops and overall VDI infrastructure. Maintain documentation and adhere to best practices for system administration and service support. Perform shift work to provide continuous 7x24 coverage. Required Clearance

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in a related field. 10+ years of experience in network and computer systems administration, with focus on cyber and network monitoring operations At least one of the following certifications: CEH, CFR, Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+, GSEC, or CySA+. Desired Qualifications
ITIL v4 certification. Extensive hands-on experience administering Omnissa (Horizon VDI) or similar virtual desktop infrastructure solutions. Strong expertise in troubleshooting and providing Tier 2/3 support in enterprise environments. Experience with patch management, system baselining, and image building for virtual environments. Proficiency in VMware backend administration and capacity planning. Familiarity with secure configuration and deployment of virtual machines in compliance-driven environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing complex system issues. Effective communication skills for interfacing with end users and cross-functional technical teams. Experience supporting local applications within virtual OS images. Demonstrated ability to adhere to and implement organizational policies, standards, and best practices.
