Senior Network Design Engineer with Security Clearance

Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following: Design, implement, and manage enterprise and service provider networks, including integration with commercial ISPs (e.g., AT&T) and datacenter environments. Design, implement, and manage new Cisco-based SDWAN solution, migrating off a JUNOS platform. Configure and optimize BGP, MPLS, and enterprise routing architecture. Manage WAN connectivity, including troubleshooting and performance tuning for high availability. Deploy and support VPN solutions, including site-to-site and encrypted tunnels over the Internet. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient network solutions. Document network designs, configurations, and operational procedures. Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for escalated issues. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team. Clearance: TS/SCI Certifications: IAT-III (e.g., CISSP, CASP, or equivalent) CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) or Juniper certification (JNCIP/JNCIE) And Functional area certifications (required prior to start) 10 years Proven experience working with commercial ISPs/service providers and integrating connectivity into datacenter environments. Strong knowledge of BGP, MPLS, and enterprise routing protocols. Hands-on experience with Juniper networking platforms (Cisco experience a plus). Demonstrated expertise with WAN links and performance optimization. Experience configuring and supporting VPN solutions (site-to-site, IPsec tunnels, etc.). Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
